Master of Science in Nursing
This University of Phoenix Online NLNAC-accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program is geared specifically toward registered nurses already holding a bachelors degree. Students of this program will learn advanced nursing knowledge through theory training and research.
The Masters of Science in Nursing program prepares students to function as an informed and skilled nursing professional and healthcare practitioner in today's constantly changing health care environment. The program is a 39-semester credit curriculum that is reality focused, application oriented, and will help the student cultivate advanced leadership skills needed to excel in the healthcare field.
A U.S. RN license is required to apply for this program and you must have at least three years of full-time work experience as a Registered Nurse. You must also have earned your bachelors degree or baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. RNs with a bachelor's degree in an area other than nursing are provided the opportunity to earn a Masters in Nursing degree through our RN to MSN Bridge Program.
Both the Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the Master of Science in Nursing Programs are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
